A Sugartown Christmas

Bring your family to Historic Sugartown for some holiday fun! Explore the historic village and hear about Victorian Christmas traditions. Sugar up at Sugartown! Kids will get a chance to decorate cookies and a gingerbread village, and try their hand at making Victorian-style ornaments and Christmas cards.

Visit with Santa at our c. 1805 William Garrett House and see demonstrations in our Book Bindery. Shop our holiday vendors and get something for everyone on your list. We will have local authors, artisans, and more.

Enjoy holiday treats and hot cocoa!

Admission: $8 per person. Children ages 2 & younger admitted free. All Ages Welcome! Fun for the Whole Family!

Cabin Fever Saturday

Kids driving you crazy?
Put away the video games and come out to Historic Sugartown to play the way kids did during the 1700s & 1800s!
We promise it will be really fun!

Make historic crafts and do activities with our friends from East Goshen, Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation, Paoli Battlefield, & American Helicopter Museum.
Create Victorian-style Valentines and other paper crafts. Try your hand at old-fashioned toys and games. Check out sleighs, carts, carriages and wagons in Historic Sugartown’s Carriage Museum.
Complimentary coffee & hot cocoa!

Admission: Children & Adults ages 3 and up – $6; Kids ages 2 and younger – Free.

Tea and Talk

with Suffragist Leader Carrie Chapman Catt

Enjoy an afternoon tea at Historic Sugartown. Indulge in a sumptuous 4-course tea provided by Simpson House Tea Room. During your tea, in honor of the centennial year of the 19th Amendment, listen to suffragist leader and founder of the League of Women Voters, Carrie Chapman Catt, portrayed by Pat Jordan of the Heritage Theater Guild, tell the thrilling story of Woman Suffrage. The tea will take place in Historic Sugartown’s Carriage Museum, located at 273 Boot Road in Malvern.

Admission: $40 per person. Advanced ticket purchase is required as space is limited! — Online ticket sales will open next week! —
